What we do

Coverage everywhere it matters, not just beside the router

Thick stone walls, long farmhouses and detached sheds defeat a single router every time. We survey the building, then design a network around it: wired access points where we can run cable, mesh where we can’t, and point-to-point wireless links to bring connection to outbuildings hundreds of metres away.

The result is one network name, seamless roaming from room to yard, a separate guest or business network if you need it, and enough backhaul that cameras, calving monitors and Netflix all run at once without fighting each other.

Safety first

Force testing, photocells and safe-edge protection fitted and documented on every gate we automate.

What's included

What a network installation involves

Site survey

We measure real signal levels through your walls and across the yard, then map where access points and links need to go.

Access points

Ceiling and wall-mounted WiFi 6 access points on PoE cabling, so devices roam between them without dropping.

Long-range links

Point-to-point wireless bridges to sheds, second houses and remote buildings — hundreds of metres, no trenching.

Structured cabling

Cat6 runs, patch panels and PoE switching, tidied into a labelled cabinet rather than a nest behind the TV.

Segmented networks

Separate guest, business and camera networks so a visitor's laptop can't see your CCTV or your accounts.

Testing & handover

Throughput tested in every room and building, with results shown to you before we sign off.

Who it's for

Networks built for the building they're in

Homes

Old cottages, renovations and long bungalows brought up to full coverage, including remote sites where the big providers said no.

Farms

Yard-wide WiFi that carries calving cameras, CCTV and feed systems, with links to sheds well away from the house.

Businesses

Separate staff and guest networks, reliable card-machine and till connectivity, and cabling that an engineer can actually maintain.

How it works

From first call to fully commissioned system

Free site survey

We come out, walk the property with you and look at the real risks — no charge, no obligation.

Written proposal

A clear plan and a fixed price. What goes where, what it does, and what it costs to run.

Installation

Our own engineers, tidy cable routes, and the site left as we found it. Most jobs finish in a day.

Handover & support

We set it up on your phone, walk you through it, and stay on the end of the line afterwards.

Questions

WiFi Networks — frequently asked

I'm in a black spot — can you get me online at all?
Usually yes. Depending on the location we use fixed wireless from a mast, Starlink satellite, or a point-to-point link from a building with better line of sight. We survey before promising anything.
With the right kit, comfortably. A wireless bridge will carry a solid connection several hundred metres to a shed, which is how we get calving cameras and yard CCTV online.
Yes — Cat6 runs, PoE switches, patch panels and a tidy labelled cabinet. Cabled backhaul is what makes wireless coverage reliable.
Standard practice. Separate networks for staff, guests and security devices, each with its own password and access rules.
All the nationwide providers told me it couldn’t be done at my location. No issue for Connacht CCTV — the lads arrived, took about three hours, and made sure all was working before they left. We’re delighted.
