What we do

The dish is the easy part. The install is what matters.

Starlink works brilliantly where nothing else will reach — as long as it has genuinely clear sky and a mount that doesn’t move. We survey the obstruction map before drilling, pick the position that gives an uninterrupted view, and fix it with hardware rated for exposed coastal and hillside sites. Then we do the part most self-installs skip: proper cable routing and sealing, surge protection, and integrating the connection into a real network so the signal reaches the whole house and the sheds rather than just the room the router sits in.

Clear sky

Obstruction-mapped positioning so your connection doesn’t drop every time the satellites move.

What's included

What our Starlink installation covers

Obstruction survey

We check the sky view from several candidate positions to find one with no trees, chimneys or hills clipping the field of view.

Secure mounting

EN-graded panels from Texecom, Pyronix and HKC, sized to the property and future-proofed for extra zones later.

Cable & sealing

Neat cable routing, correctly sealed entry points and cable management that doesn't chafe or leak.

Surge protection

Protection on the incoming cable and power, an easy thing to skip and an expensive one to learn about.

Network integration

Bypass mode into your own router, access points and long-range links so coverage reaches the whole property.

Speed testing

Documented throughput and latency results at handover, and follow-up support if performance changes.

Who it's for

Who Starlink suits best

Homes

Remote and renovated houses where fibre and fixed wireless aren't available, and where working from home needs to actually work.

Farms

Yards and outfarms that need reliable upload for calving cameras and CCTV, distributed onward over wireless links.

Businesses

Rural premises, holiday lets and temporary sites needing fast connectivity, with failover to or from an existing line.

How it works

From first call to fully commissioned system

Free site survey

We come out, walk the property with you and look at the real risks — no charge, no obligation.

Written proposal

A clear plan and a fixed price. What goes where, what it does, and what it costs to run.

Installation

Our own engineers, tidy cable routes, and the site left as we found it. Most jobs finish in a day.

Handover & support

We set it up on your phone, walk you through it, and stay on the end of the line afterwards.

Questions

Starlink Installation — frequently asked

Can't I just install it myself?

You can, and plenty do. What we add is the obstruction survey, a mount that survives a winter storm, sealed cable entry, surge protection and coverage distributed around the property.

Wherever the sky is genuinely clear — often a gable or a pole away from the house rather than the roof. We check the obstruction map from each option before deciding.
Not on the supplied router alone in most rural buildings. We add access points and wireless links so the connection reaches every room and every shed.
Heavy rain or snow can cause brief dips. A correctly aimed, unobstructed dish rides out normal Irish weather without noticeable interruption.
Even satellite broadband was ruled out by everyone else — maybe it was too much work for them. No issue for Connacht CCTV.
