What we do

Fewer trips to the shed. Fewer calves lost.

Calving season is won and lost on timing. A proper camera system means you check the cow from your bed instead of pulling on boots every hour — and you spot a difficult calving early enough to do something about it. Farmers routinely tell us it’s the best money they’ve spent on the yard.

We specify cameras with genuine infrared night vision so you can see clearly in a dark shed, pan-tilt-zoom options so you can look into a corner or check a tag, and a robust link back to the house even where there’s no cable and no WiFi. Everything is mounted and sealed for dust, damp and washing down.

Peace of mind

Round-the-clock visibility on cows and newborn calves through every calving season.

What's included

What a calving camera installation includes

Shed survey

We look at pen layout, mounting points, power and the route back to the house before quoting anything.

Night vision cameras

HD cameras with strong infrared so a dark shed is genuinely viewable — no guessing at shapes in the straw.

PTZ options

Pan-tilt-zoom cameras to sweep across multiple pens, zoom in on a cow or read a tag from the house.

Wireless links

Point-to-point links from shed to house where there's no cable, so distance and stone walls stop being a problem.

Viewing anywhere

Watch on your phone, tablet, TV or a dedicated monitor in the kitchen, with movement notifications overnight.

Built for the shed

Sealed housings, protected cabling and mounting positioned clear of stock, dust and the power washer.

Who it's for

Beyond the calving pen

Calving & lambing

Close coverage of pens and creep areas so you can monitor progress and check on newborns without disturbing the cow.

Yard & sheds

The same system extended to cover slatted houses, feed passages, meal bins and machinery — day and night.

Security

Cameras that watch the yard entrance and fuel tanks as well as the stock, with alerts if a vehicle arrives at night.

Questions

Calving CCTV — frequently asked

Can I get a camera in a shed with no internet?

Yes. We link the shed back to the house wirelessly, and if the house itself has no usable broadband we can sort that too with fixed wireless or Starlink.

Clearly. The cameras we fit have strong infrared illumination designed for the distances in a shed, so you can see the cow and the calf without any lights on.

Yes — phone, tablet, a monitor in the kitchen or the TV. Most farmers use a monitor at night and the phone during the day.

Before the rush. January and February are flat out, so autumn and early winter installs get the best choice of dates and let us test everything in advance.

Recently got him to fit a calving camera and CCTV around the yard with notifications if there is any movement. Tidy and neat work overall.
